The PAS offers a shared service in recruitment and assessment for the Public Service. We can carry out all or part of selection processes on behalf of clients. The PAS has a wealth of expertise in recruitment, search, selection and assessment. This encompasses executive level and specialist recruitment as well as managing campaigns with large numbers of candidates. We have a large range of tests and psychometric exercises to help inform a better fit between individuals and job roles at all levels.
Publicjobs.ie can be utilised by all public and civil service bodies including the Health and Education Sectors. In the past we have advertised and run recruitment competitions for a diverse range of organisations such as An Garda Síochána, the Civil Service, NESDO (National Economic and Social Development Office), the HSE and EPSO (European Personnel Selection Office) which recruits for staff to work in the various offices of the European Community. Recently we have run recruitment campaigns and advert-only campaigns for both NUI Maynooth and NUI Galway.
In the current economic climate we feel it is crucial that scarce resources are used in the most efficient manner possible. With this in mind Publicjobs.ie offers public service organisations the opportunity to promote posts to a wide range of potential candidates at no cost to the organisation.
Public Service employers may advertise on publicjobs.ie which will reduce your advertising spend and has been invaluable in attracting high calibre applicant fields.
In addition, we are working with an increasing number of public service organisations and employees in areas such as job analysis, job realignment, competency frameworks, employee engagement surveys, test development, executive and career coaching, succession planning, interview training and quality assurance. In support of the programme of Transforming the Public Service and the proposed redeployment of resources across the system, we will continue to roll out these services to client organisations and individuals across the public service as they undergo significant change and realignment.
