The National Council for Special Education was established to set up to improve the delivery of education services to persons with special educational needs arising from disabilities.
Special Educational Needs Organisers are responsible for the identification, delivery and co-ordination of education services to children with disabilities. The successful candidate will have a designated district and will work on a regional team.
S/he will hold a Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications relevant to the provision of services to students/children with disabilities. Experience in the education of children with special educational needs or the delivery of other services to people with disabilities is essential, together with excellent operational, organisational and problem solving skills.
A panel will be formed from which vacancies may be filled nationwide.
