A vacancy now exists in Cork County Council for experienced senior managers to play a leadership role as a Director of Service. Reporting to the Chief Executive of the Local Authority, s/he will be responsible for policy implementation, service delivery and change management.
The successful candidates will have:
• the necessary senior level leadership and management skills to manage, develop and motivate a large multidisciplinary team;
• experience of managing change in a complex and dynamic environment;
• a significant record of achievement of results;
• excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
