 Innovation Awards 2025

publicjobs wins Workforce of the Future Division at Civil Service Excellence and Innovation Awards 2025.

The Civil Service Excellence and Innovation Awards (CSEIA) is an annual event that recognises excellence, best practice and innovation within the Civil Service. The awards were established in 2015 to highlight and reward innovations in policy and service delivery across the Civil Service. A total of 33 teams were shortlisted across 11 categories, with publicjobs winning in the Workforce of the Future division for the Civil Service Capability Framework. This award is given to projects that demonstrate excellence in promoting people, skills and organisational development amongst staff. The team, comprising of some members of the Assessment Services Unit, ICT amd our CEO, Margaret McCabe, was presented this award by Minister Emer Higgins and Secretary General of Department of Defence, Jacqui McCrum.

publicjobs was recognised for excelling in creating a model that reflected the skills required for a high-performing Civil Service to support the creation of the workforce of the future. Our goal is to attract, empower and develop a diversity of people, with the capability and talent to deliver excellence on behalf of both the Government of Ireland and the people of Ireland. The capability framework reflects this goal by considering various elements of a person such as their behaviours, skills, strengths, knowledge, values, motivation and interests. In doing so, we can create a more effective and beneficial recruitment experience for both the candidate and recruiter and shape a more professional, innovative and creative workforce in the Civil Service.

Congratulations to all nominees and winners and thank you to the Department of Public Expenditure NDP Delivery & Reform for a fantastic night!
