
Tests and assessments can be daunting concepts, especially if you have never done one before. But don't worry, we are here to help. Keep reading for some useful info and tips for nailing your assessments!
Before the Test
- Review any booklets or familiarisation materials you have been sent.
- Check your broadband connection and choose a quiet environment.
- Ensure you have all required documents (e.g. valid ID) and materials (e.g. a pen) ready.
- Ensure you are aware of any rules for the testing session. For example, phones are not permitted.
During the Test
- Ensure no one else is in the room, and all notes are put away.
- If you experience technical difficulties, don’t panic! Follow the guidelines supplied and get in touch with the support contact provided.
- Read instructions carefully.
- Keep an eye on the time.
Practice!
- To familiarise yourself, you can complete practice tests for certain grades under timed conditions!
- You can take these practice tests in any order, get feedback on your performance and review the correct answers.
- Familiarise yourself with the role and capabilities or competencies required.
